U.S military preparing Americans for Pakistan occupation

I don't watch TV or read the MSM; there is only sensationalism or well-massaged and shaped news that smell mostly of propaganda. I've given up on politics since there is only one political party operating under two guises: Dem and Repub. But even under my rock, I catch glimpses of what is happening in the wider world.

First came Wikileaks' amazing flood* of 100,000 documents (April? 2010) telling us that Pakistan is not a good ally. Something to set some teeth gnashing. (* Wanna bet nothing much happens to the leaker? Even if the government announces that he is in some brig, how would we know that that is true? And if you wonder why I distrust the government, let me count the ways: the Maine, Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Gulf of Tonkin, WMDs in Iraq, Guantanamo, ...).

Now CIA-trained senior intelligence operations officer, Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer, comes out in C2C to stir Americans against Pakistan again. His arguments are: 1) our dear dead boogey man, Bin Laden, is in Pakistan; 2) Paks have nukes which means that Muslims (a term which the MSM equates with "terrorist") have nukes; 3) Pak shelters the Taliban.

A long time ago, before crawling under my rock, I read a very good analysis in (I think) Asia Times about what could be expected of the U.S. vis a vis Pakistan. One of the points it made was that the U.S. would come up with an excuse (such as instability and the U.S. sure has caused instability there since then) to take over Pakistan's nukes. Well, Lt. Col. Tony Shaffer is handing 3 reasons why to move against Pakistan.
